Dr. Lauren is proud to offer the highest quality in orthodontic products – Clear Aligner Therapy, The Itero Scanner (digital impressions), and the highest quality metal and ceramic brackets on the market. She also is able to provide nitrous oxide to very anxious patients. She is known for working on anxious and difficult patients both very young and old.

Traditional Metal Braces

We offer traditional metal braces. These are stainless steel brackets placed on the teeth. Metal braces work with archwires and color ties to level and align the teeth.

Clear ceramic braces are often favored by our older teens and adults due to their low visibility on the teeth. These work the same as traditional metal braces with archwires and color ties. No matter the type of braces you choose, you have an array of color choices to customize your new, accessorized smile.

Iconix/Champagne colored braces: American Orthodontics Iconix braces are stainless steel, champagne-colored brackets that offer the aesthetics of “rose” gold. Due to their champagne color, they allow for more translucency of the enamel, resulting in a whiter smile! Iconix braces are just as durable and effective as traditional stainless steel metal braces, and they do not require special maintenance or any extra work on your part. They offer an excellent alternative for patients who prefer the elegant look of “rose” gold, as well as patients with nickel sensitivity.

Clear Aligners

At Dino Dental, we bring the latest in clear aligner technology. Our Angel Aligners offer a
modern, efficient, and comfortable solution for straightening your teeth. There is no overall price difference at our office for aligners or braces.

Your first appointment would be a comprehensive consult with our Board Certified Orthodontist, Dr. Lauren. During this visit, she will conduct a thorough examination. This includes digital scans, photos, and X-rays to accurately assess if you are a candidate for Angel Aligners. We will take a scan and make a customized 3d treatment plan for a set of your fully customized clear aligners. A few weeks after the scan, you will come to the office for your aligners and receive detailed instructions on how to wear them. It is extremely important to wear your aligners for at least 20 hours per day. The great thing about angel aligners is that nothing extra needs to be bonded to your tooth to wear rubber bands if they are needed for your treatment plan.

3D Scanner technology

Here at Dino Dental, we use a digital scanner to capture images of our patients’ teeth. This digital scanner technology allows us to easily and accurately obtain models of each patient’s teeth without the use of traditional impressions.

Phase I Orthodontic Treatment

Sometimes, younger patients have a unique malocclusion, a severe malocclusion, a crossbite, or a malocclusion causing trauma that requires a two-step treatment. The goal of the first phase is NOT to complete your child’s treatment. The goal is to correct the malocclusion ot a point to remove the trauma or to make full treatment more predictable with better results than waiting to perform treatment as a single phase.

Orthognathic Surgery

Combined orthodontic and surgical treatment to correct jaw
discrepancies in non-growing patients to obtain the most stable and esthetic results. Surgical treatment is provided by an oral surgeon in a coordinated effort with the orthodontist. Patients who have skeletal Class II malocclusions, Class III malocclusions (underbites), and Obstructive Sleep Apnea achieve life-changing results with orthognathic surgery.

Maxillary Skeletal Expander

We are able to expand an adult at Dino Dental without a major surgery. An oral surgeon places TADs, and we coordinate the expansion in addition to orthodontic treatment. We are currently involved in a multi-center clinical study for Maxillary Skeletal Expanders in patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnea. Call our office to find out more about this study.

Even though the dental side of our clinic is only for kids, Dr. Lauren in our clinic is fully trained in orthodontic treatment for all ages.

Orthodontics for Children

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that a child’s first orthodontic evaluation should be no later than the age of 7.

Orthodontics for Teens

This is the most common time for orthodontic treatment, since most permanent teeth are in place. We try to customize treatments for teens so they feel happy with their care.
